THE SIDECAR

This is a true classic that dates back to the 1920’s.

This recipe is a classic using cognac.

serves 1

  • 2 oz cognac

  • 1 oz cointreau

  • 3/4 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice

  • Twist of orange for garnish

Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with plenty of ice cubes and shake well.

Brush caster sugar on the rim of the glass.

Shake very well.

Strain into a chilled cocktail glass

Garnish with a twist of orange zest
